Mod Podge Family Plaques

I love making handmade gifts for my family at Christmas time.  My sister gets mad at me because we're not supposed to exchange gifts but I've made it my tradition to do a small handmade gift of some sort for each family.  It's only for 3 families so it's not that huge of an undertaking usually.  I've made ornaments and truffles in the past.  This year I chose to take a wooden "Family" plaque and collage photos from each of the families on it and then finish it with glossy Mod Podge.  They turned out really nice, I think.  What do you think?

Until next time...

Random Creations From The Past Year

Like I said a few posts back, I've had a tough time finding time to craft.  I have done some things during the year, but not nearly as much as I would have liked.  Anyway, here's some of what I did...

Made this birthday card for my husband's grandfather who turned 100 years old this summer!  I can't even imagine all the things he must have seen in his lifetime.
This card I made for my nephew who graduated high school.  I took his graduation announcement and cut out the embossed logo and added it to the card.
I did the same with my niece's graduation card.  Cut out the logo from her graduation announcement.

The two cards above are just random cards I made during the year.

This is the Thanksgiving card I sent out this year.

Well, until next time...

Something From Back In October

I made these for my daughter and her college roommate at Halloween.  Just an empty can that I spray painted black and wrapped in cheese cloth.  Then I added googly eyes and some candy, of course!

Til next time...

College Kids Goodies

Hi!  It's me again!  I saw this idea on Oriental Trading so I decided to make these for all the college kids from our church and send them to them at school.  My daughter just happens to be one of them... :)  They're made with microwave popcorn packets, a pair of gloves, some felt, a button, a little scrap of ribbon and a pre-printed face.  I think they turned out really cute.

Tell me what you think.  Until next time...

Christmas Card Creating

Hi everyone!  I've been really struggling to find time to craft this past year.  I have been adjusting to working full time and still making time to create.  I decided to make my Christmas cards again this year.  For several years I've been doing the photo cards, but I have been seeing so many really great handmade cards online and it was giving me the bug to make them again.  I made about 70 cards of several different designs.  So, here's what I made for this year...

Enjoy!  Until next time...

Birthday Card For My Niece

Not really an original idea...  I used the basic idea from the card I just recently made for the 5 year old.  Love the orange and purple together.

Hope you like it!  Leave me some love...  Until next time!

New Creations...

Hi everyone!  Here are some of my latest creations.  Hope you enjoy.  Leave me some love if you do!

I do not scrap chronologically, as you can see.  I scrap whatever I feel like whenever I feel like it!  Here's the double-page layout and then the close-ups of each follow...

Some more Christmas layouts...

And then some cards...

Remember to leave me a little love!  Until next time...

Five Birthday Card...

Made this card for our Children's Ministry Director's son who turns five on Wednesday!  I used my Cricut Don Juan cartridge and scraps to make it.  It turned out really cute!  Until next time...

Woo, Hoo!! I'm Back In The Saddle Again!

My good friend Robin told me about the OWH Stars and Stamps Virtual Cardmaking Party that was happening this past weekend.  So, I checked it out and I got on a roll.  I was able to complete 6 of the 9 challenges.  I did multiple cards for a couple of the challenges.  Here's what I came up with this weekend...  Take a look and leave some love!  Hope you like them!  Until next time...
