OWH Sketch #212 and A Challenge To Myself

GO USA!!! I've been enjoying my weekend with  my daughter, who came home from college for the weekend. We've been watching the Olympics together which has been a ton of fun. My favorite events to watch are probably curling, skeleton, luge, bobsled, snowboarding, hockey and ice dancing.
First, here's my take on the latest Operation Write Home sketch. Very simple. Very easy!
We're anticipating more snow tomorrow (around 6 inches) so I see some more card making in my future. I was looking through all my stamps and realized just how many stamps I haven't used very much, if at all. Yes. I have a LOT of stamps I purchased and haven't even used. I'm sure no one else out there has that issue [Wink, wink]. Anyhow, I am going to challenge myself each week to use some of those sad, lonley, neglected stamps in my collection. Here are my selections for this week.  These are Hero Arts background stamps that are really fun to layer with. Can't wait to get creative with them!
Well, until next time...

Such a pretty card, love how your colors center on the robins egg blue and the cream, very nice contrast . Love the extra touches with the white gel pen!

Love the red buttons. The white stitching is so striking...nice touch. And like you I have a few unlinked stamps....I am trying to reorganize them...hopefully that will help me to use them all! Have fun with the hero arts stamps!

I love these colors and how you put the white accents in just the right spots. I always struggle with those kind of little details. I'm counting the days until my daughter comes home for spring break. Ohio is just too far from Colorado for me!
